Paihia is a very nice seaside town near the north tip of New Zealand. There’s many things to do there. I took 2 day trips – a cruise called The Cream Trip where we saw the Hole-In-The-Rock, swim with dolphins, did boom-netting and landed a really pretty island. I also did a bus trip to see the Cape Reinga Lighthouse and ancient Kaori trees. The cream trip costs about NZD100 and the Cape Reinga trip cost about NZD80. I also did some kayaking by the beach too…
I also visited the town of Russell, which is a 5min boat ride from the Paihia pier, it has old colonial buildings, a small trek, and some seaside restaurants.
The paihia beach is also very nice and I laze by the beach and also walked a little around the seaside town and the restaurants.
Here’re some photos…

The next day, I went on the Cape Reinga trip… We visited the ancient Kaori tree, went sandboarding and also went to take a walk to the Cape Reinga lighthouse… Here’re some photos…:

The next day, I took a walk along the beach…
Then I took a boat ride out to Russell – which is the first capital of New Zealand

My last day in New Zealand… so I took a photo with my favourite bus
